Honestly, I think this app is a hidden gem in the photography space. My initial expectations were low, given this comes from a solo developer but yes, this truly delivers. Is it for everyone? I guess you'd need to try and decide for yourself, as I know many people, even professionals, who do chase the "wow" factor, but I certainly don't. I want the edit to be natural and truthful, and so far, this is the only app in this category that delivers this.

I love this app. It may not have all the bells and whistles others have, but that's probably a good thing, since the core tools are optimized and work really well. I mainly use the upscaling tools (Fidelity works best for me) as I often do heavy crops and experiment with creative compositions and I really like the look I'm getting out of it. I also love the interface, it's simple, clean and polished. Highly recommended.

As a Greek based bird photographer, Image Restore AI has saved me on multiple occasions. For starters, the denoise models are absolutely amazing - They get rid of the noise without artificially sharpening or inventing details that weren't there. I prefer this approach, because it preserves the authenticity of the picture and makes it more presentable. With other apps, I tend to get sort of plastic-like outputs, which look good at first, but I always had to step in and edit them to make them look more realistic (e.g. by adding small amounts of grain) which for me defeated the purpose of denoising to begin with.

I came across Image Restore AI from a YT video and I'm so glad I did. At a drifting competition, I accidentally shot multiple bursts in JPEG instead of RAW with my Nikon Z8 and that was a huge mistake since not many apps support AI Denoise on JPEGs. Fortunately, Image Restore AI supports both RAW and JPEGs and this was a life saver. It has since become a great addition to my workflow, I always use it first to clean up my RAW files and then I continue in Lightroom to finish my edits.

Finally, an AI photo editing software that understands photographers. Over the years, I've tried so many AI based apps and I've always had the same issue; Overprocessed, plastic outputs. I'm so happy to have finally found an app that doesn't annihilate my photos by either completely changing the structure or inventing arbitrary details. You can always add a bit of sharpening to emphasize details, but you can never fix an overprocessed look. It all comes down to preference in the end but for me, Image Restore AI is currently the best option in this category of apps.

I have a Sony A7 III which I mostly use to take pictures of my family and my kids' activities. I'm not so much into editing, though I was looking for a tool to be able to remove noise from my photos. To my surprise, almost all the options I found required shooting in RAW, which I didn't want to do as I don't really have the need for it. After a lot of searching, I came across this app and my experience was very positive. It's very intuitive and simple to use, which I appreciate, but most importantly it works with any photo format which makes it really convenient. I understand I may not be the right person to fully test its capabilities but it works beautifully for me.

A very pleasant surprise. I'm a wedding photographer based in Santorini, Greece and recently, I've started experimented with low-light photoshoots during golden hour with only natural light (Santorini's famous sunsets). Sadly, I almost never keep these shots as they are barely useable due to high-ISO noise. I've tried AI denoisers in the past but I never quite enjoyed the result, as it often looked way too processed and artificial. Image Restore AI eliminates noise just as well as the other denoisers did, but it looks much more natural and pleasant. I've now used it in multiple photoshoots and both my clients and I are very happy with the results. I can highly recommend this app.

As someone who spends weeks shooting in remote locations, I appreciate tools that don't drain my budget. For roughly the cost of a memory card, Image Restore AI delivers exceptional value, handling both RAW and JPEG with capabilities  that rival much more expensive software. What truly stands out is the developer; having direct access to someone who listens and implements feedback is rare today. When I suggested improvements for batch processing my wildlife bursts, the update came within days. We should actively support apps like this, fairly priced, authentically built, and photographer-focused. The industry needs more solo developers who prioritize substance over profit.
